Modeled after the hit CBS show The Amazing Race, The MOST Amazing Race is an urban adventure around downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beaches. The first clue is given to teams at the    starting line, then theyre off on a day of adventure and  challenge. At the various checkpoints, teams will be   required to complete a task in order to receive the next clue. Tasks will be physically or mentally challenging and may involve team activities, trivia contests or food challenges.

Teams of two must outsmart, out run (or take the bus!) & win BIG! Cash prizes & awesome surprises! The MOST Amazing Race will benefit homeless families living at The Salvation Army.

This even is a fund raiser for homeless families and each team is required to raise at least $200 to be eligible to race. First place prize is $2,000, second place $1000 and third place wins $500. Top fund raising team receives a 3 day, 2 night stay at the Westin Diplomat Resort.

 

 

 


Course Information:

The race begins and ends at Birch State Park, but the clues will lead racers all around the beach area and downtown Ft. Lauderdale as they solve clues to reach challenge locations and then successfully complete the challenges. The course is approximately 10 miles long over the entire day. Racers are allowed to use a County buses or the Sun Trolley as well as running or walking.
Past challenges have included rock wall climbing, canoeing, swimming, finding objects, solving puzzles and eating interesting items.


There will be a celebration party after the race.
Directions:

Take I 95 to Sunrise Boulevard. Go east. The park is just before the beach on the north side of the street.
