A very patriotic, heart-warming family event honoring our Nation's wounded heroes.
The 5th Annual Central Florida Navy League Wounded Warrior Lone Sailor 5K is getting bigger and better with an all new 10K race! This year, were moving down the street to Blue Jacket Park at Lake Baldwin to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Lone Sailor Memorial of Central Florida. Also new this year, both races will be chipped and timed, and we will present awards to top runners in each category. Join us on April 5, 2013 to recognize our heroes and wounded veterans and support your Orlando Military community. The races are fun runs, which means we invite everyone to participate in their own way whether it means running the race in full firefighting equipment or humping the course with an extra 50-lbs of combat gear. We only ask that you dont ride a bike or roller skates/blades.
Course Information:
The course will run around Blue Jacket Park and Lake Baldwin.
Directions:
Blue Jacket Park is within Baldwin Park in downtown Orlando.
