The Laurel Hill Adventure Race is a fund raiser that benefits The Friends of Laurel Hill State Park Complex....
This race is in memory of Janice Boyko. Janice was a strong and supportive member of the Friends of Laurel Hill. She had always envisioned an adventure type race in the park and we are trying to make that vision a reality.
The Friends of Laurel Hill State Park Complex, (Laurel Hill-Kooser-Laurel Ridge State Parks), is a non-profit volunteer organization composed of members who share a love for the parks and are motivated to share their time and talent. Our mission is to contribute to the park by helping maintain trails and facilities, assisting with special projects by raising funds to improve the park's recreation, environmental education, and interpretive programs.

There will be a 2 mile flatwater kayak race, 7 mile mountain bike, 5k trail run through scenic Laurel Hill State Park Somerset, PA.
Directions:
From Pittsburgh take PA. Turnpike I-76 East to Exit 91,
Take Rt 31 East 11.7 miles turn right Trent Rd.
Go 1.7 miles turn right onto Laurel Hill Park Rd
From Harrisburg take PA Turnpike I-76 West to Exit 110 to Rt601 south to Rt31 West
Left on Trent Rd to Laurel Hill Park Rd. on the right
Take Rt 31 East 11.7 miles turn right Trent Rd.
Go 1.7 miles turn right onto Laurel Hill Park Rd
From Harrisburg take PA Turnpike I-76 West to Exit 110 to Rt601 south to Rt31 West
Left on Trent Rd to Laurel Hill Park Rd. on the right
