Formerly the XTERRA Indian Peaks of Eldora this new XTERRA located on the grounds of the Snow Mount Ranch YMCA near Winter Park Resort offers up a challenging course with unmatched scenery.  The race will include copious amounts of single track, breath taking scenery of the Indian Peaks wilderness, beautiful meadows and great fun.  The race will be capped off by a feast and party at the finish line and great prizes.
Course Information:
The XTERRA Snow Mountain Ranch will have two transition areas.

The race will begin at Gaylord Reservoir on the south end of the camp.  A time trial start two loop course will total 1000m before athletes head out onto the bike.  While the competitors are racing their swim gear will be transported back to the finish line.

The 15-16 mile bike will be a clockwise loop on the fantastic single track trails of Snow Mountain Ranch.  There will be lots of room for passing, some good short climbs, and beautiful scenery.  After doing 1.5 loops the cyclists will hit T2 near the swim pool building.

The race concludes with a 5 mile trail run that offers up, yes again, more amazing scenery.  This will be a loop that meanders down to the meadow and valley below Camp Ouray.  The race finishes next to T2 by the swim building.
Take I-70 to Exit 232 and head west for 39 miles to the Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA.  Turn left (southwest) and head 1 mile into the camp to a volunteer that will show you where to park.
Other Info:
It is hoped that the XTERRA Indian Peaks will return in 2015, and that both the XTERRA Snow Mountain Ranch and Indians Peaks will continue for many years to come.
