2010 Breezy Point Triathlon:

  • The Nineteenth Annual Breezy Point Triathlon will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Naval Station Norfolk.
  • The first wave of the race will start at 8:00 am with an in-the-water start. Subsequent waves will be started at 4-minute intervals.
  • The water temperature is expected to be 62-72o with an air temperature of 70-80o.
  • Prize money is available for the Open Division.
  • Numerous age group awards as well as weight division (clydesdale and athena) and team awards will aslo be awarded.
  • Great post-race party for all!

    • Course Information:

    The 1k swim, held in a sheltered portion of Willoughby Bay, is followed by a 20k scenic bike course that covers much of the worlds largest Naval Base. The 5k run finishes along the sea wall, providing ample space for spectator viewing.
