Description:
Central Indiana's most unique 5&10k courses! All events start in the beautifully wooded Happy Hollow Park.  The 5k and kids' 1k both stay on the paved trails within the confines of the park, with some inclines which come back down, enabling many PRs in years' past! The 10k leaves the park at the 1 mi mark and makes it's way to the gorgeous Celery Bog Nature Preserve, then a flat and downhill course heads back to rejoin the end of the 5k route. You'll also get to meet some of the animal ambassadors from the Wildcat Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center before, during and after the race! Plenty of post race refreshments, and medals for top male, female and age groupers! All kids' 1k finishers get a medal too! This isn't just a race, it's a whole family event with three playgrounds at the start/finish area and plenty to do while you wait for the awards ceremony! Check out pictures from last year at pics.andymjessop.com/Sports/Running/WWC5k-2012! More information and online registration can be found at www.wildcatwildlifecenter.org.  All proceeds benefit the educational programs and injured wildlife at the Wildcat Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
