2013 Highlander V Obstacle Mud Run:
Rock On Adventures is excited to bring you Highlander V. This race will offer to 12 years of age and up a 3 and 6 mile option of running through MUD, woods, more MUD, water, even more MUD, wooded trails, deep MUD, pastures and did we forget to mention MUD all while navigating obstacles made out of wood, plastic, ropes, swings, telephone poles..... and so much more! You can choose from our competitive 3 and 6 mile scored waves or our non-competitive 3 and 6 mile timed but not scored waves. There is an approximate 1 mile kids course know as the Wee Highlander';s course for ages 5 to 11. Wee Highlanders will run the 1st mile of the adult highlander course. The Wee Highlanders will get the same full custom designed shirt and the same Highlander V custom medal. Our awards, T-shirts and finisher medals are Highlander themed. Highlander V has the most obstacles than any other mud obstacle race out there! The obstacles will be very challenging, but fun and safe.
Rock On Adventures does not charge for parking, spectators or key check. Key check is the same concept as a bag check, but just your keys. Sorry folks no bag check with parking close by. We don';t want anyone to lose their keys on the course or worry about hiding their key. There will be an after party with DJ Jeff playing top music all day long. We have things for the kids to do within the spectator ares. We will have a FREE Boulder Dash competition with awards for the overall female/male champion! Aye, what would a Scottish Highlander event be without carrying some rocks?!
Everyone is encouraged wear their favorite costume or scottish attire. Elite Catering will be serving their assortment of delectable concoctions that will leave any Highlander well satisfied. This event makes for a GREAT spectator event as well so since they are FREE load up the lawn chairs, bring grandma, your neighbors and friends to the Highlander. Event location is the Roper Ranch located at 17701 Old YMCA Road, Winter Garden, Florida 34787.

September 21st, 2013. First wave leaves at 8:00 AM and a new waves leaves every 20 minutes.
