Description:

The Wild Stampede / Legend Race
Lions, tigers, obstacles, and mud. Awaken your wild side.

The Wild Stampede is a 5k race that will be held on Sept. 21, 2013. This event is designed to be challenging and fun and will not be timed. You won’t want to miss running this race with your friends and family before taking a tour of the Conservators’ Center to see some of the 90 exotic animals that live there, including over 30 lions, tigers, leopards, and wolves. You are guaranteed a unique, close-up view of these powerful, majestic creatures… often from just 5 feet away!

Come join us and support the Conservators’ Center. You will be amazed at the obstacles and the animals on site.

The Conservators’ Center, located just north of Burlington, North Carolina,
is a nonprofit organization that preserves threatened species through
educational programs and support worldwide, responsible captive breeding,
and rescuing wildlife in need.
