Special Gifts Theatre 5K RUN & MAGIC CARPET WALK

The Special Gifts Theatre 5K Run and Magic Carpet Walk is a community event designed to raise awareness and funds to support Special Gifts Theatres programs for individuals with special needs. Enjoy a scenic certified 5K course through Wood Oaks Park which is ideal for new and experienced runners alike. Based on Special Gifts Theatres upcoming performance of Aladdin, our Magic Carpet Walk with be a fun and family friendly event complete with costumes, snacks, awards, performances and more!

What makes this event unique is it is put on by a student council made up of students and peer mentors involved in Special Gifts Theatres programs. At the end of the race our Traveling Troupe, consisting of students with special needs will perform various solos, dances, and songs from past Special Gifts Theatre shows.
