Course Information:
This cross-country race, by far, will be the most difficult foot race in the Upstate New York area. The race course has been designed to challenge even the most experienced Harrier.
The Van Buren Park 5K Alpine Challenge will utilize all areas of the beautiful VanBuren Park, located in Baldwinsville, NY.
The Alpine aspect of the race, a large part of the course, will involve the feared and legendary Van Buren Hill.

All of the proceeds from this race will benefit The Friends of Van Buren Park, Vera House, Inc., and the Corporal Kyle R. Schneider Foundation. It is our intention to make this an annual event that grows to be one of the most respected cross-country challenges in NY State. This event is designed to be a true family event, with activities for all members of the family. The race will be followed by a barbeque cookout from one of our favorite local establishments.
