This race will offer an off road experience for cross country lovers. Half of the course is on roads inside the park with the other half on trails through fields and woods.

Divisions for awards are determined by the entries in each division and are determined on race day. In the past several runners have broken 20 minutes on a fairly difficult layout. This year we're trying to offer runners a choice of courses to race, one which is fairly difficult with a severe hill at the 1.5 mile mark, an another for novice runners which omits the hill. Much of the course is the same layout as the course run at the 2010 State Cross Country Championshipp Meet. More Fun ! Kids Race ! New this year is a 800 meter- half mile loop - for aspiring young athletes. 3 age categories 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.
