The Swim: Volunteers will be in the water and lifeguards on duty to make sure kids stay safe. A portion of the swim for kids 8-14 will be in deeper water. Kids ages 6-7 will swim on the shallower half of the lanes. Swim vests are permitted, and practice prior to the event is encouragedso all kids have a positive and confidence-building experience.
Transition Zone: Youll have your own spot to set up your bike and gear! Run from the swim to your spot, put on your helmet, and get started on your bike!
The Bike: Kids will bike on a safe course closed to traffic on nearby neighborhood streets with volunteers along the entire course.
The Run: After the bike, youll drop off your gear and start the run. Youll run on the field adjacent to the pool so family and friends can cheer you on as you cross the finish line!
