2010 Tri For The Kids Olympic Triathlon:

Join us in Rome, Georgia for the inaugural Tri For The Kids Olympic Triathlon!

Swim, bike and run through downtown Rome and beyond.

Relay teams are welcome and encouraged.

The event is being held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Tri For The Kids Youth Triathlon and all proceeds from both races will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Rome.

Directions:

Rome is located in Northwest Georgia approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Atlanta.

Great course. A ton of volunteers! Improvements for next year: Music at the start and finish. Prizes 3 deep in age category. An announcer (they did mention our names as we crossed). Great aid on the run. Good job getting results posted day of! Good goodie bags and a ton of sponsorship (the whole town seemed to support the race. Not sure about the purple shirts but they are a tech shirt. Secure the transition area and mark the mount/dismount areas next year! For a first year race, this one was good! I reccommend it.
