2013 Cyman Sprint Triathlon:
Swim
The swim will be a shallow in-water start with the course following a modified triangle of 500 yards in the clear water of Lake Petocka. The lake has 360 degree spectator 360 viewing to provide plenty of opportunities for friends and family to cheer you on. Wetsuits will be permitted according to USATs guidelines.
Note: Swimming is not permitted in Lake Petocka at this time and will only be allowed on the day of the race.
Bike
The bike course will head north out of the park onto county roads for approximately 15.5 miles. The course is considered a flat course with rolling hills and finishes with a flat, fast section back to the park.
Run
The 5k run course is a flat out and back course with plenty of opportunity to keep an eye on your competition. The run will be through the city of Bondurant and end with a 34 mile loop around Lake Petocka to finish in Kinney Park.
Transition
Transition will be located just outside of the swim finish. Transition will be a secured area and only athletes will be allowed into transition. You must show your race bib or body marking to enter transition. Retrieval of equipment must be done by the athlete only. The athletes bike number must match the competitors bib or body marking number in order to exit transition.

From I-80: Exit 142, head north on Hwy 6/65/NE Hubbell Ave, Turn West on NE 78th Ave/2nd St NE, take first right (north) on NE 80th, Park will be on your right.
Follow signs and volunteers for parking. Parking is limited so please arrive early and follow directions. Parking is allowed in designated parking areas only. Others will be towed at owners expense. Spectators should arrive prior to the start of the race. It will be difficult to enter the park once the race as started.
