Running : Run 3.1 Miles |
Armed Forces Freedom Run : |
Running : 6 Hours Relay |
20? 30? 40 Laps? More? The team with the most laps wins! Get a gang together and join the fun. No one will argue if you decide to run in combat boots and full packs, although they may slow you down.
The 8 Hour Relay race is on a one mile continuous course. Teams will pass a Baton with timing chip. There will be lots of space for teams to set up tents, chairs and other support stuff...kinda like a resupply point. This race is not for the timid or weak. This race requires stamina...and the winning team earns serious "Bragging Rights"!
The top three teams, as judged by the greatest number of circuits on course, will claim victory. Each winning team will be presented with our unique trophies for each of its registered members.
Overview
Join us for the AFFR 5K Cross-Country Run! Our race takes you through the fields surrounding the new fairgrounds. The proceeds of the race go directly toward supporting the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coastguardsmen on the local Joint Base. T-Shirts will be given to the first 300 registrants.
There are a thousand ways to get from there to here...and now, with most folks having access to a GPS or map enabled device, we are sure your route getting to the Burlington County Fairgrounds is more effective that what we present. Regardless, here are a some general instructions for position orientation (never trust a GPS!) to get you started. If you need Grid Coordinates for a field march to the Fairgrounds, just ask!
Head north on Interstate 295 to exit 52A (Rte 656/Florence Rd). Florence Road merges with Columbus Road. Follow Columbus Road until Rt 206. Follow Route 206 south for approximately 2.5 miles. Fairgrounds is on the right, just after a WaWa!
Jumping on Interstate 195 is probably your best bet getting off at exit 16. Head southwest on Route 537 (past Six Flags Great Adventure) until you get to Rt 206. Follow Rt 206 north for about 1.5 miles. Fairgrounds is on the left.
Follow the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 7. Follow signs to join Rt 206 south. Stay on Rte 206 for approximately 6.5 miles. Fairgrounds is on the right.
Find your best way to Rt 206. The Fairgrounds is about 4.8 miles past the intersection of Rt 206 and Rt 38.
