TRiKC's Longview Jr. Triathlon provides a fun and healthy opportunity to help children stay active this summer. By combining swimming, biking and running in one sport, participants benefit from a well-rounded fitness activity while enhancing their endurance and strength, all while having fun.AGE GROUPS: Tri for Tots: 6 and under (tot course); Individual 8 and under (short course); 9-10 (short course); 11-12 (long course); 13-14 (long course); Teen Elite 15-17 (elite course); Relay (team members ages totaled) 27 and under (short course) 28 and older (long course).
Tri for Tots: 25 yard kiddie pool swim, .5 mile bike, .25 mile run. Ages 6-10: 100 yard pool swim, 3 mile bike, and 1 mile run. Ages 11-14: 200 yard pool swim, 6 mile bike, and 2 mile run. Teen Elite: 300 yard swim, 9 mile bike, 3 mile run.The entire course is closed to traffic.
