Welcome to the 40th Annual Marshalton Triathlon. The course is ten miles long, starting and ending at the historic Marshalton Inn. Racers wistfully pedal on their bicycles for 2.3 miles through the beautiful countryside down to the Brandywine River, where racers partner up and canoe a winding and wet 3.0 miles! Next racers embark on the 2.4 mile walk through old horsetrails back to their bikes. For the final stretch, racers must bike back up the steep, unforgiving Northbrook Road to complete the last 2.3 miles towards the finish line. This final stretch of the race is very exciting to watch, especially as the racers cross the finish line!
