Swim 600 yards in Serpent Lakes with a beach start. The entire 600 yards is very well staffed with volunteers in kayaks, boats, and paddle boards. It is also one of the few triathlons in the state with a buoy line the entire length of the swim!
Bike: (Large portion repaved in 2012)
Bike 16 miles through some of the most scenic areas of the Brainerd Lakes Area. This course has something to ofter everyone from the beginner to the expert. Deceivingly challenging points make this a strategic race for the experts, and its 4 ft shoulders large sections ease the beginner into the open road triathlon.
The run is a 4 mile Loop.
This one time around flat course encompasses city streets and the Cuyuna Lakes Bike Trail.
