Welcome to the Third Annual DS10K Tribute! The DS10K is sponsored by the Diplomatic Security Special Agents Association
(DSSAA), in collaboration with the Diplomatic Security Foundation (DSF).The DS10K is a non-competitive activity in which participants honor the past and present Diplomatic Security community, as well as remember those who died while serving.
Directions:
We are pleased to announce that the 2013 DS 10K will take place at Hains Point, within East Potomac Park. This is a scenic peninsula, located on the South side of the Tidal Basin. The Park will be closed to traffic until 9:30am, allowing us to enjoy plenty of space for a safe run. The area also features a large green space and playground for spectators to enjoy before, during and after the race. Click here to see a virtual map!
The course is a 5K loop, with participants having the option to complete two loops for a 10K total, or stop at 5K at their discretion. Registration fees are the same for both options.
Free parking is available for race participants. The event will begin and end at the bottom (tip) of the peninsula. Please note: for safety, no cars will be admitted after 8:00am. Please plan to arrive well before the start time!
