Dirty Bit Trail Run-  A 4-Mile trail run featuring a gentle rolling start on gravel access road that turns into tight, twisty single track.  Runners experience dirt/gravel access roads, rock gardens, technical single track and fun downhill sections that demand sure-footedness and 100% attention.  Zero pavement.   Water station at the the top of the first climb keeps runners hydrated.  Technical trail running with elevation of over 630' for the run lap.
Enjoy your training!-You'll thank yourself!  10am start.

Dirty Duathlon-Solo or Two-Person tag teams compete in a Run/Mountain Bike race format around the same course.  The Race also starts at 10:00am with the 4-Mile run followed by two similar laps of mountain bike action.  The Dirty Bit Trail runners start with the Duathon participants since they use the same course. A centralized start/finish area at the Mountain Sports Center clocks athletes' Run and Bike lap times.  Several classes and divisions promise a wide array of awards options as soloists and teams compete in a bare-bones, white knuckle, hard core 100% off-road Duathlon.  Helmets mandatory while on mountain bikes.  Centralized transition area/team tag zone for bike transition just beyond the start/finish line.  Cyclocross bikes have not been successful due to highly technical trail sections on the Dirty Duathlon course.
