The Tri-It-High Triathlon and Du-It-High Duathlon are two of the Lake County Recreation Departments paramount summer events.
Again this year there will be Olympic & Sprint distances as well as a Youth Race.
All three races will have swimming portions staged in the Lake County Swimming Pool, and running and biking portions staged in wooded areas surrounding Leadville and on the Arkansas Valley floor.
Former race participants say this is one of the most enjoyable, well organized and scenic triathlons in Colorado.
The 2013 Triathlon/Duathlon will take place on Sunday, July 14.
From I-70, take the Copper Mountain exit.
Drive south on Hwy 91 to Leadville (28 Miles).
Hwy 91 becomes Harrison Ave. in Leadville.
Turn right on 6th St. and drive to 1000 W. 6th St..
The Aquatic Center and middle school will be on your right.
