without a doubt the most dangerous poorly run event i have ever done , i hesitate to use the description " race organizer " because there could not have been one ! swimmers going into transition the same way bikes were exiting , completely open transition anyone could have walked in and taken any bike they felt like , the worst t shirt i have ever seen the worst after race food , some bagels and a couple of jars of peanut butter and a few orange slices , no timing splits no swim caps , the cheapest medals i have ever seen, do yourself a big favor avoid this race like the plague.

I am a begginer to the sport of triathlon and have only done a few so I figured this would be a nice practice one to do. Well first off I understand that this is a small triathlon and it WAS very cheap to register comparitivly however it showed. big time. there was very little orginization, race crew were almost non exisitant and there was quite a bit of cheating on course. I understand that you can't have a person at every possible mile however when the race doubles over itself at multiple locations then you should have more people where it is possible to cut out large sections. My friend and I saw multiple people simply cut out over 2 miles of bike course and some of the run portion. and to make matters worse some of them MEDALED! It was discraceful to say the least. The course was also very poorly marked (not where these people cut through however, it was blatant cheating) I guess you get what you pay for....
