Both the Liberty Triathlon Olympic and Long Course distance events are USAT Sanctioned Events. All USAT rules and regulations will be enforced. The bike course will be both marshalled and policed, but the roads will remain open to local car traffic during the event. All cyclists must observe all Minnesota Traffic Laws and wear a certified snell or ansi hard-shelled helmet while on the bike at all times. The Long Course (1/2 Ironman) is a 1.2 mile Swim, 56 mile Bike, and a 13.1 mile Run. The Olympic Course is a 1.5K Swim, 40K Bike, and a 10K Run.
The race will be timed by Final Time using ChampionChip Timing Technology. The Long Course distance will be a part of the Tri Minnesota Series.
