Description: 2009 West Virginia University Rec Center Triathon:
  • This event will begin at 4pm in the aquatic area with a 300-yard swim.
  • Participants will have 5 minutes to change for a 4-mile bike ride on an upright spinning bike that will be placed in the aquatic area.
  • Athletes will then begin a 5K outdoor run around the Evansdale Campus.
  • There will be one male and one female winner, determined by the lowest combined time.
  • Each winner will receive a $100 prize package.

  • The race begins at 4pm on October 6, 2009
  • There will be a MANDATORY pre-race meeting on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 6pm.
  • Registration deadline is October 2, 2009 at 5pm
