Rules and Instructions
Swim
Swim must be completed in 30 minnutes
Water depth varies (3 to 13 feet throughout course)
Floating Orange Buoys will mark swim course
Keep Buoys on left at all times
Drifting off course will subject you to Disqualification
No swim fins or artificial breathing apparatus may be worn
Swim goggles or masks are permitted
You must wear a brightly colored cap for your safety and visibility
If you have not preiously completed a ½ mile continuous open water swim you should not attempt this event
Should you be in need of assistance while in the water, call to one of the several boats which will be nearby
Keep at least 20 feet from the old seawall at all times
Be careful of the rocky bottom at the swim finish
Bike
Only conventional two wheel, non-motorized bicycles are permitted
Bicycles must be in good working condition with two functional brakes
Ride your bike on the right side of the right traffic lane and no more than two abreast
There will be a checkpoint at the far end of the bike course at which you must call out your race number to officials to be to be verified.Also, slow down for this checkpoint

Run
The bicycle leg finishes at the New Baltimore City Park
The run follows the bicycle course
Green signs on the road will mark any turns
Aid stations will be set up approximately every mile
Only registered competitors who have finished the bike will be allowed on the run course
Mile markers are at every mile
Runners must run on the sidewalk when available
CASH RAFFLE following the race at Green Street Tavern
