I have been a triathlete for twenty-four years and have finished 21 Ironman Triathlons (Hawaii - 12x; Canada - 5x; Lake Placid, Wisconsin- 2x, and Louisville), as well as many other sprints, Half Ironmans, and marathons. I raced Pro for six years back in the early 1990s, and was featured on NBC-TV's telecast of the Hawaii Ironman in 1991. My personal records are 9:59 (Hawaii 1992, 13th place Pro), and 9:51 (Canada 1995, 3rd place Pro).
I have been a top 5 age group finisher in every race.
In 2010 I was 3rd in the 50-54, at Ironman Canada, and 5 weeks later, placed 4th (50-54) at the World Championship in Hawaii.
In 2011, I was a USAT Triathlon All-American, and represented Team USA at the Long Course National Championship in Las Vegas, NV.
I have a B.S. Degree in Nursing, and I am a Registered Nurse Certified in Neonatal Intensive Care. I have worked in this field for over 30 years, while training for, and racing in triathlons.
I am also an ITCA (International Triathlon Coaches Association) Certified professional coach.
