- The newest race in the XTERRA Oregon Trial Run Series and is the first to go towards the series points for age group champions.
- This is the same trail that mountain bikers have enjoyed for years, but now we are opening this beautiful and semi-technical trail up for you runners to take advantage of.
- The approximate 8.5 mile course will take you on one loop of the old historic trail, starting/finishing at the Rogers Camp parking area.
- The trail starts off with a steep climb to wake you up, but after that you will enjoy an up and down windy course through old growth forest, crossing over bridges and rivers, and hopping over roots and rocks.
- It is sure to challenge even the more experienced runners, but still enjoyable for the beginner trail runner.

The Historic Hiking Loop is up near the Browns Camp OHV area. It is a trail system of approximately 8.5 miles, which consists of the Nels Rogers Trail, the Wilson River Wagon Trail and the Gravelle Brothers Trail.
These three trails travel through a scenic and beautiful forest. There will be 3 aid stations on the course, stocked with Water, Gatorade and Power Gels. And then at the finish line, enjoy some post race food to nourish your well worked muscles.Course is approximately 8.5 miles according to Oregon Dept. of Forestry.

There will be a $5.00 parking fee. Parking is VERY limited at this site. We HIGHLY encourage carpooling.
