While this is a great triathlon for beginners, it's challenging enough for veterans.

Deam Lake has a sand beach and does not permit any motorboats, so the water is clear and smooth.

To keep the swim course clear, the swim start will start in small waves by age group.

Located just 19 miles north of Louisville, KY, it's the perfect venue for a triathlon!

Course Information:

The swim will start and finish on the sand beach of Deam Lake.

The ride will be out and back through the beautiful countryside of Borden, Indiana.

The run will wind through the heavily shaded roads of Deam Lake State Park.

Directions:

From Louisville:

Take I-65 North to Exit 7 and get off at the Indiana-60 exit.

Turn left toward SALEM.

Go 5 miles on Indiana 60 and merge right to stay on Indiana 60.

Go 3.6 miles and take a left onto Deam Lake Road.

Keep going until you see the entrance.

From Indianapolis:

Take I-65 South to Exit 7 and get off at the Indiana-60 exit.

Turn left toward SALEM.

Go 5 miles on Indiana 60 and merge right to stay on Indiana 60.

Go 3.6 miles and take a left onto Deam Lake Road.

Keep going until you see the entrance.

From Evansville:

Take I-64 East to Exit 121, I-265 East.

Take I-265 East then get off at the I-65 North.

Go North on I-65 to Exit 7 and get off at the Indiana-60 exit.

Turn left toward SALEM.

Go 5 miles on Indiana 60 and merge right to stay on Indiana 60.

Go 3.6 miles and take a left onto Deam Lake Road.

Keep going until you see the entrance.

Other Info:

Deam Lake Park has not determined if their gates will be manned at this time, so it is possible they will charge a small parking fee for each vehicle that enters the park.

Note that vehicles must be parked in a the parking lot only.

No parking is allowed alongside the roads inside the park.
