2012 Easter Seals' Heels & Wheels Triathlon & Duathlon for Megan's House:

A triathlon and duathlon benefiting Easter Seals' Megan's House, a children's respite home for children with developmental disabilities or who rae medically fragile.

2012 is the events 3rd annual race with the addition of a triathlon in 2012.

Race is coordinated by DRC Sports.

Contact DRC Sports for additional race in fo at 352-637-2475 or Sara Coggin at Easter Seals at 912-283-4691.

Major Sponsors are The Speech Clinic, The Monroe Foundation and GA BioMass.

Millenium DJ will get everyone going with their fabulous music.

Dunkin Donuts will be providing coffee, iced coffee, donuts and bagels.

The Waycross Jaycees will again be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers and cheerleaders from the local schools will be along the route providing encouragement.

The event will wrap up with door prizes and an awards ceremony.

Course Information:

SWIM: 14 mile

or RUN: 2 mile - Out and back on a paved road trail in park.

BIKE: 13 miles - Under a canopy of trees and scenic flat course.

RUN: 3 miles - One more time with an out and back paved road.

Directions:

Laura Walker State Park, 5653 Laura Walker Rd, Waycross, GA 31503.
Easily accessible from Hwy 1 or Hwy 82.

$5 State Park parking fee
