Boys and girls age 7 to 15 compete in age appropriate distances as they swim, bike and run, with an emphasis on fitness and fun.
Kids 7 to 9 Years: 50 yard Swim 2 mile Bike 12 mile Run
Kids 10 to 12 Years: 150 yard Swim 4 mile Bike 1 mile Run
Kids 13 to 15 Years: 300 yard Swim 8 mile Bike 2 mile Run
Course Information:
It starts with a controlled lake swim, supervised by certified lifeguards and volunteers who will be in the water aligning the course with noodles, then moves to the bike and run courses that will be on Park paths and roads and are closed to all outside traffic. There will be no cars anywhere near your kids while they are racing and race volunteers will be positioned throughout the course.
Directions:
Nockamixon State Park is along PA 563, just off PA 313, five miles east of Quakertown and nine miles west of Doylestown. The main entrances are along PA 563 and can be reached from PA 309 and PA 313, or from the north from PA 611 and PA 412.
