_ The 2024 Rockingham Co Gold Star Remembrance 5K:
Whether you are a runner or walker, we encourage you to join us for our 5K for a cause!
This event will be held on the Rockingham County Governmental Center Campus, 371 Hwy 65 Reidsville NC.
This will be an official timed event for those avid runners but welcome everyone at their own pace.
The race is dedicated to the remembrance of our fallen hero's during the Memorial Day week as tribute and a percentage of the registration fees will be donated to the Veterans Park at the Governmental Center.
The race will begin at 5:30 pm in front of the building and all runners, walkers and participants are encouraged to arrive and complete sign in no later than 5:15 pm.
There will be directional signs for parking and sign in/bib pickup.
Participants that register before May 10 will receive a t-shirt for the race. Registrants after May 10, shirts will be on availability.
Other support options for non-participants/onlookers will include purchase of t-shirt and handwritten gratitude cards for active military.
Children 5 and under are free w/ on site signed waiver.
There are age-based registration options listed.
Medical Services and Food/Beverage Trucks will be available.
