SWIM
Athletes will start on the Soda Lake swim beach and run into the water at the sound of the starters gun. The swim will be 750m in a clock-wise triangular fashion, finishing on the swim beach just slightly west of the start. 

BIKE
Upon exiting transition athletes will make their way east on the bike course. Less than one mile into the course they will reach the first T intersection, making a right turn before making the first turn-around shortly after. They will travel back the way they came, past transition, past the park entrance (where a Lakewood Police Officer will be present to direct traffic and ensure the safety of the cyclists), and out toward the dam. At the T intersection theywill reach the second turnaround, again making a 180 degree turn and going back the way they came. They will pass transition area and go out for a second lap. Upon completion of the second lap, athletes will enter transition at the western most point of the parking lot. Athletes must dismount prior to entering transition. The dismount point will be clearly marked. 

RUN
Make your way out of transition and onto the sidewalk leading to the swim beach and past the playground. Keep to the left side of the path at all times during the run. Make a left and follow the sidewalk out to the parking lot, where youll stay along the perimeter and dip down the small grassy hill onto the main bike path. Youll make a right onto the path and follow that all the way out to the turn-around at the half-way point. Youll pass the water station twice, once on the way out, and once on the way back. As you approach the main race staging area, keep left and head straight into the finish.
