_ The 2024 OCPR Sprint Triathlon:
The Oldham County Parks and Recreation, USAT sanctioned Sprint Triathlon is held at Wendell Moore Park on the Saturday, August 24, 2024.
This is a great race for every level of triathlete. We also offer a team division.
All triathletes receive a finish metal at the finish line.
Awards ceremony follows the race with free pizza. Overall Female, Male and Team receive $200. Top two finishers in a variety of age groups will win awards. All triathlete finishers will be entered for a chance at one of 5 cash door prizes as well as other prizes during awards ceremony.
The race costs $75.00 per individual and $120.00 for three-person teams. Non-USAT members must add an additional fee per participant to cover one-day insurance.
Registration deadline is August 9th at 2:00 p.m. Maximum number of participates is 200 entries.
Course Information:
Swim:
400 meter time start, every 15 seconds.
swim in the John W. Black Aquatic Center 25 meter pool.
Bike:
10 miles on the Oldham County roads (non closed) with police at the major intersections.
Bike course is a hilly course.

3K run is on the park grounds includes an asphalt trail with a few grass sections.
