May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Rice Properties Group is partnering with NAMI Northern Virginia to raise donations in support of mental health! The goal of this Fun Run is to be healthy, have fun, and to raise funds for Mental Health! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to NAMI of Northern Virginia. Free catered BBQ lunch after the run + awesome raffle prizes. The course will be mapped out and marked with flags so our runners are aware of the designated running area. Water and snacks will be provided at the finish line. Details: Check-In/Bib Collection: 9:15-9:45 AM 5K Start Time: 10:00 AM Run End Time: 11:00 AM Willard\'s BBQ to Follow Immediately After Race Not quite ready to run a full 5K? That is A-OK! We want everyone to feel like they can participate, regardless of their fitness level. There are plenty of other things you can enjoy, such as adult and kid centered activities as well as food! Everyone that registers will get an awesome T-Shirt and a medal. Registrants ages 12 & Under are FREE. Entry fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions.Course Information:
Please meet at the Algonkian Regional Park - Shelter 1 to pick up your packet + bib. This is an out-and-back course. Start Line will be marked to the rear of the Shelter in the adjacent parking lot. The run begins on road before transitioning to a portion of the Potomac Heritage Trail, which is mixed with paved and trail sections.
