Welcome to the Inaugural Lincoln Trail Triathlon ...Where athletes are invited to push their limits amidst the serene landscapes of nature's playground. Whether you're a seasoned athlete who wants to compete with the best, or a first-timer looking to try something new, Lincoln Tri will be an unforgettable experience. This iconic event boasts a captivating swim OR paddle in the pristine waters of Lincoln Trail Lake, a two-loop bike course with a hint of elevation to keep things exciting, finishing with an iconic out-and-back run .
With the entire race contained within the park's confines and free from outside traffic, families can relish in the festive atmosphere, complete with activities tailored to our future triathletes. Lincoln Trial Triathlon is conveniently located in Marshall Illinois, perfect for multisport enthusiasts from Chicago, St. Louis, Louisville, Indianapolis areas and beyond.

Course Information:
Experience Lincoln Trail State Park
Serene Lake Swim OR Paddle
The swim start is located at Lincoln Trail State Park Lake. For triathletes, the 500 meter swim will begin with a self-seeded rolling start and will end on a separate dock consisting of 2 turns and exiting on a separate dock along the lakefront lined with spectator and local support. The water temperature will be taken on race day, but participants are advised to bring a wetsuit if they have one.
Paddlers will start their 1 kilometer journey with a floating mass start, and finish at the boat ramp where volunteers will safely assist you onto dry land.
Cycle the Park
Lincoln Trail’s stunning terrain boasts incredible riding conditions you will never forget.
The 20-kilometer bike leg offers just the right amount of challenge and thrill to keep competitors engaged. The two-loop course is entirely within the park's confines and closed to outside traffic.
Energizing Run
Your journey will finish with a spectator-friendly out-and-back run with every stride fueled by the cheers of supporters propelling you to the finish line.
