_ The 2024 Milford's Merry Miles of May:

It's back! Join us on May 11, 2024 for the fourth annual, Milford's Merry Miles of May 5k race! This race offers a scenic view around the small town of Milford, KY. The course is flat and fast, with runners starting and finishing in the parking lot of Milford Christian Church.  You'll be surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland as you begin your 3.1 mile journey.  Around the 3/4 mile marker, participants will begin to run alongside the beautiful North Fork River.  As you reach the half way point, you'll run near an old tobacco barn where you'll have the chance to stop for a sip of water and take in the awesome view. Don't soak in the view too long though, after all, it's a race...so...GO, GO, GO!!!  Celebration starts after crossing the finish line, so be sure to hang around for the music, meal, and dessert auction!  

All proceeds from this race will go towards Milford Christian Church's annual Christmas Shop. The Christmas Shop is a charitable event that helps to provide local youth with gifts for the holiday season.  The Christmas Shop has been able to give 5-6 gifts to each child, providing for more than 375 kids in 2023.  Through your participation, you are helping to purchase toys for the Christmas Shop.  It is our mission that every child in and around the surrounding area have a wonderful Christmas!   

BACK AGAIN, TO THE SCHEDULE for 2024, is the Kids Fun Run, Milford's Mini Miles of May!  The distance for this event will be 0.5 mile with a surprise gift for all finishers.  Participants for this race must be ages 9 and under.   

**In order to allow parents to participate in the 5k race, we will be providing a supervised viewing of a Christmas film, inside the church.**
