The Tri for the Y is for members and the community, age 6 years and up. Anyone ages 6 to 9 will need to particpate with a guardian. Ages 10 to 11, will need a guardian present to observe. Ages 12+ can compete on their own. Registration is required.
Race Setup:
• 15 minute swim
• 5 minute transition
• 15 minute cycle
• 5 minute transition
• 15 minute run/walk

Join us at the Spring Valley YMCA.
When:
The triathlon will kick off at 7:40 AM on Sunday, April 14, 2024, with heats starting every 20 minutes.
Race Cost:
Race cost varies by registration date.
• February 1 - 29: $30/participant
• March 1- 31: $35/participant
• April 1 - 14: $40/participant
Course Information:
Swim in a 25 yard pool for 15 minutes, then cycle on a spin bike for 15 minutes, then run or walk on a treadmill for 15 minutes. Go as fast or slow as you would like- the "winners" of the race are those that cover the most distance in the 45 minutes of racing. NOTE: There is also a 5 minute transition between each event.
