_ The 2024 Coon Dog Day 5k:
Coon Dog Day 2024 will be held in Saluda, NC on July 6th and the 5K will be better than ever!
The Coon Dog Day 5K is hosted by and is a fundraiser for Saluda Elementary School. The run begins in McCreery Park beside Main Street at 8am and follows the traditional Coon Dog Day 5k route.
We are adding chip timing to the event for all participants to track their time for this annual festival run! We are adding a kids' 1 mile fun run as well which will include timing for the runners! We are pre-ordering more shirts! (Supplies are limited to availability based on sign up order.) Plan to stay for the daylong festival of crafts, food, music and quirky small town fun.

PACKET PICKUP- Friday, July 5, 4-7 pm at the Saluda Visitor’s Center next the Train Depot in Historic Downtown Saluda.
SATURDAY MORNING: The start/finish line and race day pickup/registration table will be beside the stage in the park (across the track from Main Street in the center of town).
PARKING- Saluda School Parking Lot on Seminary Street (short walk to start line on Main Street) and the Saluda Tailgate Market/West Main Street Public Parking Lot. We will add more parking options as planning with the city moves forward, so check back for more details.
