The High Mountain Triathlon brings athletes to the beautiful, eastern Valley County region of Idaho. This event takes advantage of the unique topography of the area from Warm Lake to Yellow Pine. Sporting events promote outdoor activity, recreation and tourism and improve the economic stability of the area.
Course Information:
The event begins at Warm Lake and ends at Yellow Pine.
Swim: start at the North Shore Lodge launch beach (44°39'12.63"N; 115°40'10.42"W) and swim to the buoy (44°38'48.06"N; 115°40'10.72"W) and return to the beach. 1.5k total distance.
Bike: start at the parking lot of North Shore Lodge (44°39'14.55"N; 115°40'8.49"W) to Trapper Flats turnoff,40k total distance.
Run: grom Trapper Glats turn off to Ice Hole Campground,10k total distance.
Swim: start at the North Shore Lodge launch beach (44°39'12.63"N; 115°40'10.42"W) and swim to the buoy (44°38'48.06"N; 115°40'10.72"W) and return to the beach. 1.5k total distance.
