_ The 2024 Summer Solstice Trail Run:
Celebrate the summer solstice with a beautiful early morning trail run in Gay City State Park with three race distances to choose from: 3 mile, 5 mile or 8 mile. The 8 Mile race is part of the 2024 Blue-Blazed Trail Running Series.
Race participants earn a custom designed Happy Trails water bottle with an option to add on a Happy Trails customer designed short sleeve tee.
Course Information:
• Gay City State Park is the remnants of an 18th century abandoned mill town in Hebron.
• You will pass the remains of the old paper mill, cross over the Blackledge River and view many traditional old stone walls in the deep woods.
• The park is located on Route 85, near the border of Bolton.
• Trails are well maintained but expect some rocks and roots along the way.
