_The 2024 Lone Star Night Run:

The Lone Star Night Run is a 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon run held on Lake Mineral Wells State Park\'s Trailway in the foothills of North Texas. The course is open and paved with soft fine gravel. The race follows an out & back course beginning and ending at the Weatherford Trailhead.

Location and Times

The start and finish are located at the Weatherford Trailhead for Lake Mineral Wells Trailway.

Saturday
Packet pickup - 7:30PM to 8:30PM
Half Marathon, 10K & 5K - Start time 8:30 PM

Sunday
Cutoff - 12:30 AM (4 Hours)

Race Rules

Half Marathon - 13.1 mile out n' back
10K - 6.24 mile out n' back
5K - 3.12 mile out n' back

- This is a cupless race. We will have water refill stations to refill your own bottles and cups.
- No littering.
- Headlamps Required.

This race is a part of the Texas Summer Night Series. Anyone who completes all 3 races in the series will receive a Texas Summer Night Series Water Proof Sports Duffle Bag & a case that holds all the race medals in the series.

Within a 30-day notice, runners can receive a full race credit to any race of their choosing (except qualifier-required races.) For anything less than 30 days notice, race credits can not be transferred. We do not offer full refunds.
