The 2024 Route 66 UltraRun:
The Route 66 UltraRun is 140 Miles of History on iconic Historic Route 66 from Seligman to Topock66, AZ. Compete in the UltraRun Solo or Relay Team Division. In the UltraRun Solo division you will take on the entire 140 miles yourself with a support crew of 2 to 4 people. Compete for a finisher’s buckle and maybe win the traveling trophy, the Andy Payne Cup. With a 60-hour cutoff, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beauty and iconic stops along the way. Two solo runners may share a crew, although you must travel on the Route together. Or maybe you and your family or friends want to compete in the Relay Team division of 3, 4, 5, or six people. What size team is the best to be fastest on the Historic Route? Or which one is the most fun? Whatever size team you choose, all teams will compete (equally) against each other in the Relay Team division. There are no set distances or transition points; you decide who runs when and for how long, and you can adjust your plan as needed along the Route. It’s all about strategy, baby! Always the second weekend of November, this Race for Everyone is truly a Kick! Registration is limited to 50 Solo runners and 25 Relay Teams, so register now.
