Why Run?
We believe all children should be supported and feel safe and for the children experiencing abuse or neglect, this is not the case. The goal of our event is to increase awareness of our volunteer services advocating for children from Taylor County in the foster care system, to recruit new volunteers and raise funds to support our mission. All proceeds from this event directly support our mission.

Registration Fee:  $25.00 for ages 13 & Up 

Children 12 and under run for FREE! Note these optional purchases:  Children runner's shirt $7.50, add a timer $5

*Registration DEADLINE to guarantee 2023 Runner shirts CLOSES APRIL 21, 2023 @ 4pm!!! 
All registrations AFTER deadline will be given overflow shirts in various colors. Size and color NOT guaranteed after 4/21/23

Race Details:

Entrance and parking from N. 16th Street. NO ENTRANCE from Judge Ely Blvd.
Race day check-in & day-of registration tables open on Saturday, May 6th @ 7:45am. 
Runners will be released in waves starting with Elite Runners.
All participants will follow our designated course around the ACU neighborhood & Campus.
Awards will be given to top Male & Female runners in each age category 

*PLEASE NOTE: Race route WILL include running on city streets!! Please be aware of motorist at all times and monitor children closely!!
 

Runner Bag / Shirt Pick Up:
(Reminder - Race t-shirts color /size will be guaranteed ONLY to those registered by 4pm April 21, 2023)
Friday, May 5th from 12 - 6pm @ Arrow Ford Dealership @ 4001 S. 1st St.

All participants are encouraged to dress up in a superhero theme and show your superhero spirit!

Awards for CHIP TIMED Participants include:
Overall Top Male & Female (fastest time 18 years & up): Medal for age category, trophy & $100 Gift Card
Top Teen (fastest time for boy OR girl 17 and under): Medal for age category & $100 Gift Card
Top Youth (fastest boy OR girl 12 or younger): Medal for age category & $100 Gift Card
Overall Top Master Runner: Trophy and Medal

Medals for Top 3 Male & Female finishers in each age group:
