_The 2024 CCS 5K:
Back by popular demand! This chip-timed 3.1-mile evening run and 1-mile walk features glow sticks, neon, glow-in-the-dark paint, and more! Before and after the race, enjoy a rockin' glow party with music and food trucks! The 5K race is complete with podium awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Pre-race activities start at 7:00 PM and the 1st wave of runners will take off at 8:00 PM. We suggest carpooling to the event. 5K Run (what you get) - Race shirt - Event bib number and timing device - Goodie Bag - Access to race event activities. - A finisher’s medal The Mile (what you get): You will receive a race shirt, event bib and timing device, goodie bag and access to race event activities. Bring the kids and walk the mile as a family as strollers and wagons are welcomed! T-shirt size guaranteed if registered before March 25th, 2023. Make your run more meaningful by fundraising! You have the option of fundraising as an individual or as a family. This way the children are able to get involved and feel like they are making their own contribution. It also encourages healthy exercise, builds a sense of community, and is just plain fun!! Early Bird registration is now open. The price will increase at 11:59 p.m. (U.S. Central Time) on March 12th, 2023. Register Now! No dogs permitted at the event.
