Come celebrate Hispanic Culture with us. And be as victorious in your pursuit of health as those warriors were in their victory at the Battle of Puebla.  5K  and 5 miles or run the 1-mile family fun run. Have fun meeting people while celebrating cultures. Running is universal.

We serve chips and salsa at the finish. Live music and folkloric dancers. Street tacos are served.

LOCATION:  BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, Ca 92648.  LOT 25. Come in the main gate and go furthest WEST. (Park charges $15)  Near the corner of PCH and Warner there is OPEN public parking available behind the Jack in the Box on Warner and PCH. (Do not park in the gas station or market lot). But you can walk into the race lot from outside.  

EARLY RACE PACKET PICK-UP (for your convenience) or you may pick up the bib and shirt on race day at the race site.  You may pick up for others.

6:30 am  Registration OPENS

8:15 am START of Kid's family fun run. (1 Mile) 

8:30 am Mass START of 5K/5 Mile

9 : 15 am Start of 5k AWARDS CEREMONY

9:30 am Start of the 5-mile AWARD CEREMONY

bring EXTRA CASH FOR STREET TACOS, AGUA FRESCA, FRESH FRUIT, AND SPECIALTY COFFEES FROM THE COFFEE TRUCK

PARKING:
PARKING at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH is $15. You may wish to carpool. To enter into BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH go in the main gate on PCH and drive the furthest EAST to the very last parking lot. The race is staged in view of that famous Jack In the Box on the corner of Warner and PCH. There is FREE parking one block west.  It's a few blocks walk to the start.

5-year Age Spans:  3 deep with 5-year age spans:  5k and 5 Mile  1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80&over 

Top  3 Overall Trophies to Males & Females     Plus award to Oldest finisher. Youngest finisher. 

Pets: Friendly Pets are allowed and must be leashed at all times and accompanied by a Run /Walk participant.  Please use a leash of 5 ft or less, for the safety of all pets and runners.  Line up towards the back of the pack at the start and keep to the side of the race field on the course.

Stroller: Families can bring strollers, but agree to use at their own risk.  We do ask that you line up towards the back of the pack at the start and keep to the side of the race field on the course. Note, that only registered participants with a BIB will receive a finisher medal.

Please make sure your BIB is in the front and visible to our volunteers.  And watch for cyclists enjoying the same beach bike path you are running on.

The race will take place rain or shine.  RESTROOMS are in the public buildings at the end of each of the parking lots.
