Join the fun at Virginia Weaver Park in Cedar Hill for a day of multi-sport for kids!
NEW for 2024: A family and friends wave!
*In an effort to decrease waste, we are going bottle-less at the finish line! We will have plenty of ice and water in coolers with paper cups.
FOR KIDS: Triathlon or Splash and Dash – open to kids age 6 -15 yrs with Junior and Senior distances!
FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS: This special Try a Tri recreational wave is open to anyone who wants to race with a family member or friend, regardless of age or gender. The distance of this wave is 200M Pool Swim + 5mi Bike + 2K run
More details on Friends and Family wave:
This pair can be an adult & child; child & child or adult & adult. There are many options; mother/son, father/daughter, aunt/niece, mom and dad, mom and uncle.
Each person registers separately in the ‘Family Wave’ and includes on the registration form their “group” name.
Family and Friend groups will be numbered together (this is why we need your group name!) and will start the swim together (time trial format) and can participate alongside each other!
Same goodies – shirt, medal, timing, etc.
This wave is not eligible for age group awards. This one’s for fun!
Family & Friends wave will begin after all the individual youth athletes have finished the swim and left transition on their bikes
