_The 2024 Cool Sommer Mornings Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, & 5K Series:
The Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon-Duathlon-5K Series is a four event multisport series that takes place at the World Triathlon Destination, Clermont Waterfront Park. Each of the four series events is conducted on the same course, allowing you to track your progress during the series. All athletes who finish all four live events and race in the same race/division for all four events, are eligible for series awards. Athletes who finish all four events, either virtually or live, will receive a fifth super cool bonus medal!
Race #4 of the Cool Sommer Mornings Series featuring a "Decades - the Eighties" theme. Each race of the series has a unique theme and features a sprint and intermediate distance triathlon, a sprint duathlon, intermediate aquabike, and a 5K run/walk.
New for 2024 is that the races have been moved to Sundays and the bike course will be an 8.2 mile loop around Lake Minneola. Sprint distance cyclists will complete one lap, and Intermediate distance cyclists will complete two laps of the 8.2 mile course.

Course Information:
Course:
SWIM - The swim course is a rectangular shaped course in Lake Minneola. The projected water temperature is expected to be 82-84. Wetsuit use is in accordance with USAT rules.
BIKE - The bike course travels clockwise around Lake Minneola and then incorporates another 2+ miles in the residential area of Clermont for a total of 10.6 miles. The 21.2 mile bike is two laps of the 10.6 mile sprint bike loop.
RUN - The run course is an out and back course on the South Lake Trail.

Directions:
Clermont is located 20 minutes west of Orlando at the intersection of US HWY 27 and State Road 50. From State Road 50 in Clermont, take East Avenue north one mile to Palm Avenue and the entrance to Waterfront Park. Waterfront Park is on the southern shores of Lake Minneola.
