2023 TriKidz Clermont Youth Triathlon Race #1:
TriKidz Clermont, a fun filled youth triathlon/duathlon for youths ages 6-14. All events are first-timer friendly and are a great way to introduce your kids to multisport!
NOTE: Due to parking restrictions, this event is LIMITED TO 100 PARTICIPANTS. We suggest registering ASAP.
Start Time: JUNIORS - 7:30AM; SENIORS 8:15AM

Triathlon Distances:
JUNIORS - Ages* 6-10: Swim 75 yards, Bike 2.2 miles, Run .5 miles
SENIORS - Ages* 11-14: Swim 150 yards, Bike 4.4 miles, Run 1 mile
Duathlon Distances:
JUNIORS - Ages* 6-10: Run .25 miles, Bike 2.4 miles, Run .5 miles
SENIORS - Ages* 11-14: Run .5 miles, Bike 4.4 miles, Run 1 mile
*In accordance with USAT rules, all ages are based on the participants age on Dec. 31, 2023.
The event timeline is as follows:
6:00am - 7:15am - Packet Pick-up at Lake Louisa State Park
6:00am - 7:25am- Transition Area Open
7:30am - 6-10 Year Old Wave Start (Juniors)!
8:15am - 11-14 Year Old Wave Start (Seniors)*!
*Senior wave will not start until all Juniors have cleared the course.
Ages 6-10: Swim 100 yards, Bike 3.4 miles, Run .5 miles
Ages 11-14: Swim 200 yards, Bike 6.8 miles, Run 1 mile

Course Information:
SWIM:
- The swim course is a rectangular shaped course in Lake Minneola
BIKE:
- The bike course is an out and back course on the South Lake Trail taking cylists out past Clermont's Hiawatha Preserve and back. Juniors complete one lap of the course and Seniors complete two laps.
RUN:
- The run course is an out and back course running towards Clermont Waterfront Park and back.
Directions:
Clermont is located 20 minutes west of Orlando at the intersection of US HWY 27 and State Road 50. From State Road 50 in Clermont, take 8th Street north one mile to Downtown Clermont, then travel west on Minnneola Ave. to the entrance to Victory Pointe.
