Open Water Swim training for adults and youth.

Join Race Omaha and Coach Brett Petersen to improve your Open Water Swimming and train for an upcoming event or race!

You may register for any or all of the training events listed.

Recommend purchasing a USA Triathlon annual membership (youth or adult) in advance.  Single Day USA Triathlon fees do not cover more than 1 event. Youth Membership are no cost in 2023.  Please go to https://www.teamusa.org/usa-triathlon and click on Join/Renew. Use Code OmahaYouth for a free annual youth membership. Once submitted, you will be issued a membership number that must be entered during registration for one of Race Omaha’s youth events and events with high school ages 15 to 18.  

Dates: 

June 15th (Thursday) 6pm to 7pm at Lake Cunningham (entrance 1 Boat Ramp and Marina located on Lake Cunningham Road)

June 22nd (Thursday) 6pm to 7pm at Lake Cunningham (entrance 1 Boat Ramp and Marina located on Lake Cunningham Road) - Special Nebraska State Championship Clinic - Open Water Swim from 6pm to 7pm with a triathlon clinic presented by Triathlon Coach Brett Petersen followed by optional group runs and rides on the State Championship courses.   

July 15th, (Saturday) 1pm to 3pm at Lake Cunningham (entrance 1 Boat Ramp and Marina located on Lake Cunningham Road) - Day Prior to the Omaha Triathlon.

Please arrive between 5:30pm and 5:45pm for the Thursday evening swims on June 15 and June 22nd, 2023 for check in and course information.  Plenty of parking is available near the boat ramp. Do not park in the marina.
