The 2023 Otter Romp Youth Triathlon:
In 2022 the Keene Family YMCA and Sonic Endurance partnered to bring you the first youth triathlon to be held at the Keene YMCA. We're back in 2023 and excited to welcome new triathletes to endurance sports family.
Registration includes a t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and age group awards three deep in two-year age groups (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12). The swim takes place in the Keene Family YMCA pool, the bike is held on a completely closed bike course on Summit Road, and the run takes places on the YMCA grounds at 200 Summit Road in Keene.

Run .62 mile
AGES 7-8
Swim 50 yards (2 laps)

AGES 9-10
Swim 100 yards (4 laps)

AGES 11-12
Swim 200 yards (8 laps)

Required Skills and Equipment
All participants mut be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards without a flotation device, and are required to bring the following:
Bicycle with Pedals (training wheels are OK)
Bicycle Helmet
Sneakers
Bathing Suit
Goggles
Towel
